Our Type 9T are durable seals made to perform in most types of rotary shaft equipment. Their design features a reliable PTFE wedge secondary seal ideal for a wide range of services from chemical to food, hydrocarbons to acids, etc. These seals have a set screw to provide a positive connection between seal and shaft. Unitized by a snap ring, the seals are can be disassembled and repaired on site.type 9T seals meet ASTM F1511 and for most applications are a direct replacement to original equipment seals.
